| Bookings
Bookings can only be made online via the MBSA website shop.
When a booking is made you will receive an order confirmation,
which you should read carefully to check that all details
are correct. You will then receive a Health Questionnaire
and details of equipment and clothing that you will need to
bring with you.
Gorrick reserve the right to postpone or cancel any course
for any reason and will offer an alternative course or provide
a full refund in these circumstances.
You are responsible to ensure that the mountain bicycle used
during the training course is suitable, appropriate and safe
for riding and that you have suitable clothing with you for
adverse weather conditions.
You must be aged 18 or over. Riders under 18 must be accompanied
by an appropriate adult over 18 years old and the application
form must be completed by a parent/guardian.
You agree to indemnify Gorrick, its agents, landowner and
anyone person connected with this training event from any
liability whatsoever resulting in personal injury (whether
fatal or otherwise), loss, damage or expense caused and the
chosen venue are not liable for any damage, injury, loss or
otherwise incurred elements as a result of, or in connection
with, the principle, operation or running of venue facilities,
guided tour or course applied for which the client has applied.
Gorrick reserve the right to remove from the course or ride,
those who ride or act in a way considered dangerous to yourself
or others or those who have disregard for the local area,
the public, the venue or the instructor. In the unlikely event
of this occurrence refunds or any other financial return will
be forfeit.
Cancellations
In the event you wish to cancel your training, the following
refunds apply.
More than 30 days prior to course date: 100% of the course
fee will be refunded.
30-14 days prior to course date: 50% of the course fee will
be refunded.
Less than 14 days prior to the course or no show: no refund.
Adverse Weather Conditions
Gorrick reserves the right to cancel or postpone a training
event if the weather is deemed to be unsuitable to ride safely.
In the event of this occurrence then a full or partial refund
or transfer of the course will be made. Adverse weather can
cause rapid deterioration in equipment, such as brakes, or
even light conditions to fall to unsafe levels, in this case
cancellation may occur at very short notice or indeed even
if the training has commenced.
Public Safety
Gorrick is insured for public liability up to £5 million
and all our trainers have individual insurance cover.
All our trainers have also been cleared by the Criminal Records
Bureau and hold a current certificate.
