TransWales 2008

OK Julian and I have entered this mad race - approx 350 miles and 50,000ft of climbing all in 7 days. Read more about it here www.mtbtransuk.co.uk We'll post some pictures and a report here when we get back! I know we're mad!!!

Mountain Mayhem - 21st June 2008

The Mud Fest !!! The team was Jules, Harry and me, with guest appearance from William and Carolyn, 17 Laps completed. We're still awaiting the final positions.

Overall it was great fun, and a great way to spend a weekend. Just a shame that Sunday’s daytime weather hadn’t arrived that bit earlier to save us from the quagmire.  

Carolyn and William – many thanks for stepping in and filling the team slots that became available, and for putting in all that effort to keep going when sometimes it didn’t feel like all that much fun. Let’s hope we can get you along to lots more events - great performances from both of you over the weekend and thanks for keeping the team ticking along.

Harry – well done for getting through the two worst laps we've ever seen at Mayhem. That was a big effort, and no wonder you didn’t look so cheery when you came in at 2:50am. Great to have you there and thanks for putting up with the student comments all weekend!

Jules - great to have you in the team, now we have to train for the Trans Wales! OMG!!!

Test Valley Tour - 15th June 2008

Purple Bike Shed were the mobile assistance at the Test Valley Tour again this year - with the new Purple Ez-Up and Banners.
